A large part of our business involves custom projects, ranging from small home office to restaurants, hotels & corporate office jobs.

    Spree Winter Campaign

Our Firenze Table was sourced for a winter collection photoshoot produced by Melissa van der Scholtz and Jacobus Snyman. The campaign featured local influencers dressed in some of Spree's best winter fashion.

It's great seeing our work alongside such creativity!

Public outdoor furniture - Silo District

We recently supplied the V&A Waterfront with a range of our KPA Outdoor tables and KPA backed benches for use in the Silo District.

Over the years we have distilled our outdoor offering down to two materials that meet our expectations in terms of being weather resistant and ageing well: Hot-dipped Galvanised steel & outdoor hardwood. For this project we used a timber called Garapa which is a favourite as it is sustainably forested and kiln-dried, giving you the best chance for success over many years.

It's a real treat to have our work set amongst such inspiring architecture and watch it weather the elements!

    Radisson Red - Cape Town

Working with Source IBA we supplied various items for this striking 252 room hotel in the new Silo District of the V&A Waterfront.

Views of the working dry dock and Table Mountain frame the rooms, with exceptional finishes throughout. We supplied our Firenze chair for each room, our Salisbury bedside lights, bins and various other accessories around the hotel.

It was great working with such a talented interior design / procurement team and always exciting to see so many local designers being supported in these large scale projects.

Take a look at the rooftop bar, have a swim and enjoy a pizza in one of the city's' best views!

Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp - Tanzania

For this exciting project we were tasked by MI Designs to design a range of furniture robust enough to be moved around the Serengeti a few times a year while still in keeping with the appropriate luxury of the camp.

This migration camp is unique in its approach as it keeps a very light footprint on the earth and employs a range of skills from the local communities.

The aesthetic of the camp focused on simple materials and finishes while keeping a standard of luxury the Sanctuary Retreats company is known for, this was a challenge we really enjoyed!

The brief challenged us to design a wide range of items, some of the highlights being: beds, couches, dining tables, outdoor furniture, pendant lamps and a signature Gold bar to enjoy a G&T at while watching the passing migration!

We made use of polished raw steel, leather and solid timber to ensure longevity and a reference to bygone days when travel was slower and materials were chosen for their function.

The constraints of this brief challenged us to think beyond our usual environments and to see our work amongst such raw beauty was true exceptional!

    PricewaterhouseCoopers

We were recently commissioned by FORMIST to design and manufacture furniture for PricewaterhouseCoopers’ newly built offices in the iconic Silo precinct at the V&A Waterfront.

This was an incredibly exciting project that stretched our capacity in many ways. It was great to be part of a corporate design project and see our work meet the brief in terms of aesthetics, quality and budget.

We made variety of pieces for boardrooms, workstations, outdoor and custom storage solutions.
