This year marks two milestones for the P+L collective: eighteen years of considered design, and a new chapter north of the Cape, in Johannesburg. After a long and successful run from our De Waterkant flagship, setting shop in Joburg has always been a dream, one made real by the community who has shopped, styled and lived with our pieces from afar. Extending our home to this community – and meeting them where they are – felt not only natural, but essential.

Set on a quiet corner of Sixth Street, just off the main strip of Fourth Avenue, the new store sits among Parkhurst's leading design and lifestyle names. Here, considered design meets a realm crafted to delight, in a space that feels like a home away from home. Shop a wide selection of furniture and homeware, with hands-on assistance to help you find the best timber finish, steel colour, or size for your space. Open Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00, and Saturday, 10:00–14:00.

Proudly rooted in South Africa, Pedersen + Lennard furniture is sought after around the world for its bold, timeless Afro-Scandi aesthetic. Founded in 2008, every piece in the P+L range is dreamt up, designed and made under one roof in our Cape Town factory, now within reach of Johannesburg too. From best-selling chairs to signature coffee tables, considered design sits at the heart of everything we do. Our mission remains the same as it was on day one: to meaningfully impact every person who has a hand in making each Pedersen + Lennard piece while making the everyday beautiful for our community.
